About Don McFarland, A Longtime Resident Of Salyersville
Attorney Donald Wayne McFarland‘s lifelong passion for the law has allowed him to take a personal approach with ease in every case, treating his clients like family.
Mr. McFarland graduated from Magoffin High School in Salyersville in 1987. From there, he went on to pursue his undergraduate degree at Morehead State University. In 1994, he completed his law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University and soon after began his practice of McFarland Tinker Law. From 1999 to 2006, he served as the Magoffin County Attorney.
Other than his time away at school, Mr. McFarland has been a proud resident of Salyersville all these years and enjoys being an active member in the community. He is a member of the Burning Fork Community Church and the Salyersville Masonic Lodge #769. He has also coached the local little league and Cal Ripken youth baseball teams on and off for over 15 years.
Mr. McFarland is also known for his friendly goldendoodle dog, Griffie, who is a loyal companion.

Mr. Tinker spent 20 years as an insurance defense attorney before joining McFarland Tinker. He brings deep knowledge to every case, as well as loyalty and persistence.
